In April 2016, GAVA convened a regional symposium in Dakar, Senegal to discuss the current status and future of vitamin A supplementation for child survival in sub-Saharan Africa. The meeting and workshop brought together approximately 120 delegates from 23 countries in sub-Saharan Africa.
